Journalism Lettering Requirements

  1. Two or more years of service on yearbook staff as a member in good standing
  2. Must have participated in all aspects of yearbook creation (researching, interviewing, writing, editing, photography, design, concept development) and done work of high quality in all areas.  Each aspect must have been used in the creation of at least one yearbook
  3. One or more years as a member of the editorial board
  4. Student must be a senior or currently enrolled in the yearbook class
  5. Compete at NHSPA fall convention or NSAA state competition.  All-Class Medalists or Golden Kernel Winners receive an automatic letter
  6. Attend NHSPA summer journalism workshop
