Clothing and Design Students Proficient at Their Game

May 16, 2017

Three Clothing and Design classes blew the doors off the record of the number of articles made in a semester.  At the time of this writing almost 190 articles have been finished.  On the top of the list were 16 quilts that were at least lap size.  All sixteen were quilted by the students.  Four baby quilts and two hand tied quilts also top the list.  Students made 27 pillows and four afghans, 20 cosmetic bags, six hand bags, and everyone redesigned a t-shirt into something they'd wear and each made an ear bud case.  Other items made were shorts, skirts, a romper, pants suit, lunchbox, crocheted back pack, diaper bag, baby shoes, table runners, crocheted scarfs and head warmers, dog clothes, counted cross stitch projects, fleece blankets, phone charger case, coasters and beautiful embroidered pillow cases.

Each class also made a community quilt to give to someone in need.  Two of the three quilts are complete.
