8th Grade Science
Science students in the 8th grade have been learning about MATTER.  This concept is often difficult for students because the particles that make up matter are too small for them to see with their bare eyes.  This week the students are creating models representing elements, molecules, compounds, and mixtures.  They are using marshmallows and toothpicks to help them visualize the difference between the various types of matter.  A fun, tasty way for them to grasp this exciting concept!
